Terms and ConditionsAdvance Registration & Payment Is Required
• Confirmation of your registration will be upon receipt of notification of payment
arrangements.
• Purchase Orders and Cheques for Canadian Course Registrations must be made payable
in Canadian Dollars to:

Limited Attendance
• DNV Training reserves the right to limit the class size to any course to ensure
a satisfactory learning environment.
Course Registration Fees
• Fees include attendance, course materials, continental breakfast, lunch and refreshment
breaks.
• Course fees are listed in Canadian Dollars with each course description.
Course Hours
• Unless otherwise specified, class hours are from 8:30 to 5:00 each day.
• Participants should arrive 15 minutes early the first day.
• Some courses may require overnight homework assignments.

Cancellations
• Participants may cancel at no charge up to two weeks before the course start date.
• Cancellations must be in writing.
• Cancellations received less than two weeks prior to the course start date will
only receive a 50% refund of the full amount.
• Participants who do not cancel and do not attend the course will not be refunded
the course fee.
Transfers
• One transfer is permitted and must be received in writing at least two weeks prior
to the course start date to avoid a processing fee of $130.00; all additional transfers
will be charged $130.00.
Substitutions
• Substitution of a participant can be made with no additional charges.
Course Postponement or Cancellation
• DNV Training reserves the right to postpone or cancel any course to ensure a satisfactory
learning environment.
• If a postponement or cancellation is required for any reason, participants will
be notified not less than 14 days prior to the course start date via phone, fax
and or email.
• Participants may apply the course registration fee to a future course, or request
a full refund.
• DNV Training and or Burnell & Associates Inc. are not responsible for travel expenses
incurred by participants in the event of a postponement or cancellation.
Earn CEU’s
• DNV Training offers Continuing Education Units for all courses.
Special Assistance
• Individuals requiring special assistance to participate in a course should notify
DNV Training or Burnell & Associates Inc. at the time of registration.

Sales Terms and Conditions
Prices and Taxes
• All prices for products are shown in Canadian Funds.
• Prices do not include and are subject to the Goods and Services Tax / Harmonized
Sales Tax (GST/HST).
Shipping
• Orders of $50.00 or more include shipping and handling via Parcel Post Expedited
(Canada Only).
• Orders of less than $50.00 will be charged a fee of $15.00 for shipping and handling.
• Requests for shipping via Courier are extra.
• Requests for shipping outside of Canada are extra.
Risk of Loss and Loss Insurance
• All items purchased from BURNELL & ASSOCIATES INC. and or managingrisk.ca are
made pursuant to a shipment contract.
• This means that the title of and risk of loss pass to you the purchaser upon our
delivery to the carrier.
• Requests for Loss Insurance are extra and must be made at time of purchase.
Invoices Due Upon Receipt
• Invoices are due upon receipt; overdue accounts are subject be charged interest
at a rate of 2% per month compounded (26.8242% yearly).
Damaged or Defective Product
• If you receive damaged or defective product, contact us at 800-691-7233 within
14 days of receipt of your purchase.
• We will replace the product or issue a credit upon our receipt of the retuned
damaged or defective product.
Returns
• All products (except E-Learning and software) can be returned within 30 days of
receipt of your purchase.
• You must call beforehand for a return authorization.
• Returned items must; (1) Include a copy of the original receipt; (2) Be shipped
pre-paid with proof of delivery to, Burnell & Associates Inc., 6927 – 48th Street
S.E., Calgary, AB T2C 5A4; (3) Be packaged in a manner that ensures they will not
be damaged during shipment. We will not be responsible for items damaged during
shipment due to insufficient packaging; (4) Be received by us in a saleable condition.
• Within 14 days of our receipt of your return you will be refunded your purchase
price less a minimum $15.00 shipping and handling fee and a 15% restocking charge.
